A MYSTERY TRAIN?
I was recently sent the above photo of an unknown toy train by the TCA Reference Library who were trying to identify the toy train in it. They thought it was of UK manufacture. Apparently it is a press photo taken in England in 1919 so presumably had some news interest at the time. Having sent it to a few individuals the consensus so far is that it is probably from Nuremberg though made for the British market, possibly low end Bing or Bub. I thought I would post it here as well in case anybody had any further comments or information. If so please contact me at memsec@traincollectors.co.uk
